Muskowekwan Incumbent Chief Re-elected

The Muskowekwan First Nation has re-elected its incumbent chief.
According to band officials, Reg Bellerose won this weekend’s election with 263 votes.
William Pinacie came second with 114 votes and Gilbert Manitopyes was third with 97.
Former Fishing Lake Chief Shirley Wolfe-Keller also ran in the Muskowekwan election and received 69 votes.
Five new councillors will join three incumbents.
Their terms are for two years.
