No One Hurt In Drive-By Shooting In Onion Lake

An RCMP spokesman says it is too early to know whether a shooting incident on the Onion Lake reserve Saturday is gang-related.

Cpl. Rob King says Mounties are still interviewing people about the incident and hope to know more shortly.

At about 10:40 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle drove up to a house and fled after one shot was fired into the residence.

About 20 people were in the house at the time, but no one was hurt.

RCMP seized a vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident.

Victim services personnel are providing counselling to people who were there at the time.
