Officials with Saskatchewan Highways say the road running from Pinehouse to south of La Ronge is now open.

Travel on Highway 165 was shut down on June 21st after sections of the road were flooded.

Officials say the road was re-opened to light traffic on Monday and is now open to all traffic.

Crews have been busy doing repair work in areas damaged by running water.

The highway is the northernmost road link between northeast and northwest Saskatchewan.

Meanwhile, sections of Highway 265 north of Candle Lake and Highway 969 north of Timber Bay remain closed because of flooding.
