It’s too early to say when 78 flood evacuees from Timber Bay and the Montreal Cree Nation will be allowed to go back home.

Richard Kent is the commissioner for emergency and protective services for the Prince Albert Grand Council.

He says the chief will make that decision in consultation with health and Highways officials.

Kent says about 200 people were affected by flooding there, but only 78 chose to go to Prince Albert.

Others are staying with friends and family.
