Two people are facing drug charges following a joint operation involving the File Hills First Nations Police Service and the RCMP.

On Monday, investigators searched a home on the Okanese First Nation.

Police say they found a small amount of marijuana, cash and prescription drugs.

A 55-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman are now facing various drug-related charges.

Officials say the arrests are part of an on-going investigation into marijuana trafficking on six First Nations in the File Hills region.
