PA Police Probe Car Fire, Body Found

Police in Prince Albert continue to probe a suspicious fire in the city.

Around 1 a.m. Saturday morning, two officers saw a car that was on fire near a Riverstreet home.

They went to alert people inside a nearby house while the fire department arrived to extinguish the blaze.

Sergeant Kelly Mclean says that’s when they saw what appeared to be a body inside the car.

He says an autopsy will have to be performed on the body before positive identification is complete.

He adds interviews are being conducted with the people inside the home.

Anyone with information about what happened is being asked to contact police.
