PA Woman Nets Jail Time for Death

A Prince Albert woman will spend the next year and a half behind bars for causing the death of another woman.

In April of 2008, police discovered the body of 39-year-old Helen Henderson in a home on River street.

Marlene Henderson, who was 55 at the time of the incident, was arrested shortly afterwards and charged with second-degree murder.

Yesterday, she pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of aggravated assault.

In addition to the 18 month sentence, she also received 2 years probation.
