PAGC Fine Arts Festival Kicks Off

The skills and talents of Northern Youth will be on display this week in Prince Albert.

Today marks the start of the 20th annual P.A.G.C. Fine Arts Festival.

From now until Thursday, youth from 27 of the council’s 28 communities will showcase their abilities in dance, singing, crafts and other activities.

Shona Stapleton is the coordinator of the event.

She says this week’s festival will have pretty much the same format as past year, and students will demonstrate everything from singing and dancing to crafts and sculpture.

Stapleton says 1,700 students and chaperones are expected for the event.
