Police Investigate Black Lake Murder

Stony Rapids RCMP are conducting a homicide investigation after the discovery of a body today at Black Lake First Nation.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit, and officers from Prince Albert are assisting with the investigation.

Police had been searching for a missing person since Tuesday.

Investigators have confirmed the body located today is that of the missing person.

No other details about the case have been released and Mounties say they are notifying next of kin.
