Police Still Searching for Missing Woman

Saskatoon police are renewing calls to the public for any information on a woman who went missing a year ago.

Karina Wolfe was last seen by family in the 800 block of Appleby Drive on Friday, July 2nd of 2010, although she was also reportedly seen in the area of 20th Street and Avenue H.

She hasn’t been in contact with family or friends, there is no record of banking activity, and she has failed to pick up prescription medication.

Staff Sergeant Grant Little says there have been some persons of interest identified over the course of the investigation, and they have been interviewed, but no one arrested.

Little says there may be a possible connection with an unsolved sexual assault that happened a few days prior to Wolfe’s disappearance.

That incident occurred near the same area where Wolfe was last seen: at Avenue J and 19th Street.

He asks anyone with information to please contact the police.
