A five-month drug investigation by the RCMP and Prince Albert Police has led to the arrests of 21 adults and one young offender from the Prince Albert area.

Seven search warrants were executed in the city earlier this week, and resulted in over 100 charges being laid.

Most of the suspects are from Prince Albert, but two are from the Mistawasis First Nation and another two are from Debden.

Police also seized 53 grams of cocaine, five pounds of marijuana, numerous prescription pills, a small amount of ecstasy pills, a large amount of cash, a concealable weapon and three vehicles.

Three of the suspects have been demanded to vacate their residence, and several more residences in Prince Albert are being investigated.

Investigators expect more charges to be laid in the coming weeks.
