Red Earth Prepares for Possible Flood

Officials at Red Earth First Nation are preparing for the spring runoff and possible flooding.

Chief Ian McKay says he noticed the appearance of surface runoff this morning.

He says the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority indicates it could be a bad year.

McKay says the band’s flood co-ordinator is already preparing for a possible evacuation.
