A trial date has been set for a Saskatchewan First Nations chief facing an impaired driving charge.

Red Pheasant Chief Stewart Baptiste entered a not guilty plea yesterday in Biggar Provincial Court.

He will go to trial on October 5th in Biggar.

That’s where officers allegedly pulled him over last October.

Baptiste is also accused of refusing to provide a breath sample.
