SaskGaming Boasts Most Diversity

SaskGaming can boast that its diversity numbers are higher than any other of the provincial Crown Corporations.

This year’s annual report says 42.5 per cent of Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw employees are Aboriginal.

President and CEO Twyla Meredith says the corporation surpassed its targets for Aboriginal procurement.

Minister responsible for SaskGaming, Ken Cheveldayoff, says it’s a good way to step into the workforce.

Cheveldayoff says the diversity numbers are about the same as last year.

One-thousand-fourteen people work for the provincial casinos.
