Treeline Pictures is holding a casting call in LaRonge for Aboriginal youth to portray characters in an upcoming film.

‘Barefoot’- written by Danis Goulet – is a coming of age story about two young women.

Goulet says no acting experience is necessary.

“We just want people to come out if they happen to have an interest and want to see what this is all about.  Come out to the casting call, you don’t have to have acted in anything before.”

The casting call is from 4 until 7 this Friday at the Kikinahk Friendship centre.

Goulet’s previous short film Wapawekka will show at 7:30 with special guest hip hop artist Wellspoke.
