Seven people have been charged for cheating at the Gold Eagle Casino.

One of the persons charged was a live games dealer there.

The remaining people are patrons.

The alleged dealer is 25-year-old Christopher Stone.

The others charged are 27-year-old Reuben Bear, 38-year-old Christopher Belanger, 28-year-old Ken Mark, 28-year-old Ceciellia Swiftwolfe, 36-year-old Wade Wang and 32-year-old Xiao Zhuang.

They have all been banned from all SIGA casinos in Saskatchewan.

They are all from the North Battleford area.

The case was initially investigated by officials from the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority and Indigenous Gaming Regulators Incorporated offices located in Saskatoon.

After their review, the North Battleford RCMP were contacted to initiate a criminal investigation on the case.

Those charged will make their first appearances on May 30th in provincial court.

CEO of SIGA, Zane Hansen, says there is a bright side to the arrests.

He says it proves their security system works.
