Seven People Challenging Incumbent LLRIB Chief

Seven people have been nominated to challenge incumbent Lac La Ronge Indian Band Chief Tammy Cook-Searson in the coming band election.

They include Robert Ballentyne, Gerald Cook, Henry McKenzie, Barb McLeod, Percy Mirasty, Stewart Mirasty and Roger Ratt.

Cook-Searson has been the chief since 2005.

Band members will head to the polls in six communities on March 31st. Advance polls will take place a week earlier.
