Shore Gold has released a feasibility study of a proposed diamond mine east of Prince Albert.

President Kenneth MacNeill says the company is pleased with the positive results of the study.

He says robust economics confirm that a world class diamond mine is feasible in central Saskatchewan.

At this point the estimates are that over a 20 year life of the mine, 34 million carats of diamonds could be produced.

If the mine’s built, it’s expected to employ five hundred people continuously over two decades.
