Suspects In Gordon Baby Assault Still In Custody

Two people remain in custody after their first appearance in Punnichy Provincial Court yesterday on charges of aggravated assault on a baby.

Twenty-eight-year-old Jennifer Moosemay and 39-year-old Bradley Moosemay of Gordon First Nation were arrested over the weekend.

They also face charges of failing to provide the necessities of life.

RCMP began their investigation after an eight-month-old boy was treated for injuries at the Regina General Hospital last week.

The suspects make their next court appearance tomorrow in Punnichy.
