Teen Charged in Sturgeon Lake Stabbing

A 15-year-old girl from the Sturgeon Lake First Nation appeared in court today, charged with stabbing another reserve resident.
Police were called to the stabbing at 11:20 p.m. Monday night. They found a 20-year-old Sturgeon Lake woman suffering from stab wounds.
She was sent to hospital in Prince Albert.
Her wounds are not considered life threatening.
The 15-year-old accused has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
