Two in Hospital Following Assaults

Two people were taken to hospital on the weekend following assaults on two Prince Albert-area reserves.

Officials with Parkland Ambulance say they were called out to the Sturgeon Lake First Nation shortly after midnight Sunday morning.

Paramedics treated one person who was taken to hospital with serious injuries and was last reported to be in stable condition.

Then around 9:45 the same morning, an individual was injured on the Muskoday First Nation. That person was also taken to hospital in stable condition.

So far there is no word on any charges in either incident.
