Seven members of Walk4Justice stopped in Regina overnight.
This is their fourth annual walk, and their goal is to reach Ottawa by September.
Susan Martin is from London Ontario and says it’s a hard journey but worth it if she can save one woman’s life.
Bernie Williams of B.C. is a founding member of Walk4Justice.
She says just because one man was convicted, the violence against women continues and the federal government needs to make this a priority.
The four women, three men group left for Winnipeg this morning.
