War Vet, Artist Honoured on 90th Birthday

Sweetgrass war vet and artist Henry Beaudry is 90 years young.

A birthday party and round dance were held in his honour in North Battleford on the weekend. About 50 people turned out.

Beaudry was amazed to see so many people help him celebrate with him.

Beaudry has had an amazing life. He was a prisoner of war in WWII. Then he became an artist, creating more than 1,200 paintings.
