Youth Blamed For Burning Down Band Hall

Two fires that occurred on the Moosomin First Nation last weekend have got the attention of the RCMP.

Police are continuing to investigate the second one, which destroyed an abandoned house on Saturday.

The first fire destroyed the Moosomin Community Hall Friday afternoon.

RCMP say a youth put a burning stick into a garbage can next to the hall.

However, they can’t prosecute because the youth is under 12 years of age.
