Distance-Learning Renos at SIIT Unveiled

A $2.1 million renovation to a Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies building was officially opened today.

The building is the Saskatoon campus of SI.I.T., on 4th Avenue in the city.

SIIT spokesman Robert Daniels says the distance learning equipment is awesome and will help reach students all across the province.

It will also be the new home of the Academics department.

The project was cost-shared by the federal and provincial governments.
