Fundraiser for Fire Victims

People from the Red Pheasant and Mosquito First Nations are banding together to help a family hit by fire.

The Littlebear family of Cando lost their home and all their possessions in a fire in late August, so a fundraiser is being held this Thursday night at Cando Community School, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Co-ordinator Janice Nicotine says they’re looking for donations for the family such as clothing and supplies.

Nicotine says they’d be glad to accept food donations for the event, too.

They would also like to find someone to provide entertainment.
