A play that was banned on the Poundmaker First Nation last spring is about to be made into a movie.
Antigone is the product of two Poundmaker First Nation residents.
Deanne Kasokeo wrote it in 1998 by adapting an old Greek play. Floyd Favel produced it.
Favel says his company and a Montreal company will turn the play into a film.
Filming will take place in January.
Excerpts of it will be shown on the Isuma TV website.
