Two youths have been arrested in connection with a house fire on the Waterhen Lake First Nation.
The house, which burnt down September 29th, was under construction.
It was supposed to be a home for RCMP members serving on the reserve.
The two boys were arrested Sunday and charged with arson.
Meadow Lake RCMP say one suspect is a 16-year-old boy from the Big Island First Nation. The second accused is a 14-year-old boy from the Waterhen First Nation.
The 16-year-old was scheduled to make a court appearance yesterday — and, at last word, was still in custody.
The 14-year-old has been released from custody and will appear in court November 21st.
