Big River RCMP have charged three people after an elderly woman was assaulted in her home in Debden on Saturday.
Police say two men and a 16-year-old boy are also facing charges for a number of other break-ins in the Big River area.
The suspects are 25-year-old Ervin Whitefish and 18-year-old Mike Lachance from the Big River First Nation.
The charges include robbery with violence, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
The youth, who is also from the Big River First Nation, is facing similar charges.
The teen and Lachance appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning and remain in custody until their next court appearance in Big River on Monday.
Whitefish was arrested by Big River RCMP this morning and will be appearing in Prince Albert Provincial Court later this week.
