RCMP have arrested three people and have issued arrest warrants for two others following a fatal stabbing last week in Fort Qu’Appelle.

Police say 23-year-old Cassidy Aaron Goforth of the Peepeekisis First Nation faces a charge of robbery with violence.

A second suspect is also in custody awaiting charges.

Meanwhile, police issued an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Jesse Aaron Laswisse of the Standing Buffalo First Nation on a charge of robbery with violence — but Mounties say he turned himself in last night.

Warrants have also been issued for 25-year-old Preston Clarence Buffalocalf of the Okanese First Nation and 20-year-old Kelfert Wayne Watetch of Regina.

Watech is wanted for second degree murder, while Buffalocalf is facing a charge of robbery with violence.

Last Thursday, 22-year-old Joseph Lyle Bellegarde of Regina died of stab wounds received in an altercation at a Fort Qu’Appelle home.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
