A woman charged with attacking another woman with a hatchet on a northern Saskatchewan reserve nearly two years ago has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.

Thirty-one-year-old Jennifer Walker was arrested after the incident in Sucker River on January 10th, 2010.

RCMP were called to a home on the reserve around 5:30 that afternoon.

The 41-year-old female victim received non-life-threatening injuries.

Walker appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court yesterday and received a six-month conditional sentence.
