A new workshop is being offered by the University of Saskatchewan to past sufferers of drug abuse.
The half-day session is geared towards women who are recovering from drugs and the dangers that come from the lifestyle.
Titled “From Stilettos to Moccasins” the workshop features a DVD and workbook that can be sent to communities at no cost.
Program coordinator Coleen Dell says the program stresses the importance of cultural identity in healing.
She says anyone who wants to get their hands on the material should visit www.addictionresearchchair.ca
