The Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations is giving a failing grade to a report on education.
This week a three-member panel that was endorsed by the Assembly of First Nations handed in a list of recommendations on how to improve education at the reserve level.
The Federation says only one of those suggestions actually addressed the concerns of chiefs in Saskatchewan though.
It essentially calls on Ottawa to put more funding into First Nations schools.
The FSIN says the other recommendations will eat up cash, resources and time.
The group adds the AFN does not speak on behalf of the FSIN regarding education.
