Saskatchewan Justice says a coroner’s inquest into the death of a northern Saskatchewan man has once again been delayed.
Officials say new information has come to light in the death of Harry Haineault.
The 38-year-old man was shot and killed by an RCMP officer during a struggle at the Clearwater River Dene Nation in September 2008.
An inquest into the death was called for October 2010, but new video information at that time caused a delay in the proceedings.
Justice officials say the latest information will have to be thoroughly reviewed, and once that is complete, a new date for the inquest will be announced.
