Aboriginal employment shot up sharply in Saskatchewan last month, according to the provincial government.
Off-reserve employment was up by 4,700 positions, a 13% increase.
That figure has gone up for 10 months in a row.
Aboriginal youth employment rose by 800 positions, a 9.2% increase.
That figure has risen for five months in a row.
Advanced Eduction Minister Rob Norris says part-time jobs are also being transferred into full-time employment.
He adds this is being reflected across the broad growth of the province.
Norris says particular progress is also being made on the construction sector and natural resources.
