Police have now apprehended two Regina residents who were the subject of arrest warrants following two violent home invasions in the city earlier this month.
Police say 27-year-old Ryan Varley and 28-year-old Kristin Lerat were arrested without incident in Regina this morning.
On April 1st, police were called to a local residence where it is alleged five people entered a house occupied by three females.
Police say one of the victims, a 19-year-old woman, was taken from the house and pushed into the suspects’ vehicle.
It is alleged the suspects then went to another house, entered it unlawfully, and committed an aggravated assault on one of the occupants of the house.
At that point, the female victim from the first home invasion was allowed to leave.
Three other suspects had previously been arrested and charged in connection to these incidents.
