The pilot of a small plane had to do some quick thinking when engine trouble led to an emergency landing in a northern Alberta marsh.
The crash happened yesterday afternoon, a few kilometres south of Fort McMurray.
R-C-M-P say the pilot and co-pilot were flying from Fort McMurray to Buffalo Narrows when they encountered trouble.
They sent out a distress signal and made a soft landing before they were airlifted to safety by emergency responders.
