The Yellow Quill First Nation is taking a trip down the information highway.
The band is partnering up with ISM Canada to provide laptops to its students.
Thirty units will be sent to the First Nation this fall.
Band spokesperson Leila Nashacappo says they are hoping the technology will help kids with their grades:
“We’re hoping to bring up the math and science requirements in our high school students — and with the computer systems that ISM Canada is providing, we’re hoping to achieve a higher percentage.”
The company says it hopes the students will consider careers in the technology industry.
