Broadview RCMP are investigating after two farmers reported they had a handgun pointed at them.

The incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. last Saturday on the Sakimay First Nation.

Police say a man who jumped out of a van was waving and pointing a black pistol at the two local farmers.

The man is described as being in his early 20s, Aboriginal in appearance, wearing a light-coloured floppy beach hat, black coat and white shirt.

He was accompanied by a woman, also Aboriginal in appearance, with long black hair, and wearing a light-coloured blue shirt and vest.

The two left in a muddy, 1990s, tan-coloured Chevy Venture or Ford Windstar van.

Anyone with information on this or any similar incidents is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
