A vice-chief with the FSIN has confirmed he is running again in this fall’s election.
However, this time, Morley Watson says he has his eye on the top job:
“I’ll be running. I’m going to offer my services to the people as chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations.”
The position has been vacant since former chief Guy Lonechild’s departure last year.
Watson has been acting as the federation’s primary spokesman ever since.
