For the second time in less than a month, RCMP have made arrests in connection to alleged bootlegging in northern Saskatchewan.
Last Thursday, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Pelican Narrows.
Mounties say a large quantity of marijuana and alcohol was seized.
A 29-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man are facing charges of bootlegging alcohol and possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana.
The suspects are to appear in Pelican Narrows Provincial Court on August 20th and September 4th.
Nine people were arrested in Turnor Lake on June 29th after police stopped four vehicles and seized several bottles of liquor that RCMP allege were destined to be re-sold in the community.
