There’s new information about a fatal collision on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
RCMP say 31 year-old Wilson Mckay Peters has been charged with impaired driving causing death and three other charges for his alleged role in the crash.
Around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday night paramedics in Prince Albert rushed to the reserve where they found a 20 year-old man who had been stuck by a vehicle.
He was declared deceased at the scene.
In addition to the impaired driving charge Peters also faces counts of failing to remain at the scene of an accident, refusing to provide a breath sample, and resisting arrest.
Peters is due in court on September 24th.
