A man is recovering today after being fished out of the North Saskatchewan river.
Paramedics got the word around 8:00 Thursday night that an adult male was spotted in the water.
Lyle Karasiuk says members of their boat-launch team got the man out and took him to the hospital.
Fortunately he only suffered minor injuries.
Karasiuk notes a water-rescue is always difficult.
Karasiuk says it’s not clear whether the man jumped in the water or fell.
