The Flying Dust First Nation has received some money to spruce up its arena.
Yesterday the Federal government announced that 54 thousand dollars would be used to upgrade heaters, dehumidifiers and flooring at the facility.
The work is also intended to enhance the air quality inside the arena and ability to control the moisture.
In a release Chief Jim Norman says the improvements will mean the facility can be used year-round.
The money comes out of the Western Economic Diversification Fund.
