A high-ranking member of a Saskatchewan First Nation is facing a charge of assault.
Band councilor Darwin Morin of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation was charged following an alleged incident last month at a casino near Edmonton.
In addition to the assault charge, Morin is also facing three counts of breach of undertaking.
He is due in a Stony Plain, Alberta courtroom tomorrow.
