A woman is dead after a police chase in Prince Albert last night ended in a vehicle pileup.
Just before 10 p.m., officers responded to a report of an impaired driver on the East Hill.
Police attempted to pull over the suspected vehicle but the driver refused to stop.
The vehicle eventually collided with two others at the intersection of 6th Avenue East and 28th Street.
One of the victims in the crash, a 30 year-old woman from Prince Albert, was taken out of her car and rushed to hospital where she died around 12:30 this morning.
A 21-year-old male suspect from Weldon is in custody.
He and another male passenger received minor injuries.
Police Sergeant Kelly Mclean says they are now determining what charges to lay against the driver.
There are already allegations the driver had been drinking and also ran a red light.
He is currently in custody.
