There are now six people in custody in relation to the first-degree murder of an 18-year-old Aboriginal male in Prince Albert last September.
Twenty-year-old Michael Trevor Andrew Ward was arrested in Hobbema, Alberta last Wednesday.
He is implicated in the murder of Dakota Nayneecassum and the attempted murder of a 21-year-old man.
Twenty-three-year-old Kyle Alexander Goodrich, 27-year-old Tasia Natewayes, 23-year-old Blake David Norman, 19-year-old Leo Raine and a 16-year-old boy also face charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder.
Natewayes and Norman are from Saskatchewan, while the other suspects are from Alberta.
Police believe these were not random acts of violence, but that they were related to drug trafficking.
