Saskatoon police say they may lay charges if recent allegations of a “starlight tour” prove to be totally unsubstantiated.
Police say both a check of their global positioning system and in-car cameras have shown no cruisers were outside city limits during the alleged time and the individual in question was not in custody.
Chief Clive Weighill says if the allegations prove to be totally false police could lay charges but at this point they are more interested in gathering further information about the allegations.
Police say as of yet neither the woman who made the allegation nor the 19-year-old man involved have formally come forward to them.
