Shore Gold continues to try and get everything in place for a potential mine at the Fort a’la Corne site.

On Thursday, the company announced it has responded to 82 comments and information requests on its environmental impact statement.

For much of the past decade, Shore Gold has been looking for diamonds east of Prince Albert and it is interested in mining in the area.

In a release, the company says it revised its original impact statement after receiving feedback from government and Aboriginal groups.

The company says many of the newer comments have since been addressed.

It adds it still needs to complete some new design parameters for site-water management before the responses can be submitted to federal regulators.
