The Water-Security Agency says moisture levels in much of northern Saskatchewan are looking normal.
However, the same can’t be said for other parts of the province.
The agency says if regular snowfall continues, it expects above average spring runoff in the Cumberland House and Red Earth regions.
However, spokesman Patrick Boyle says some other parts of the province look much wetter at this point.
“There are some areas between Saskatoon to Prince Albert and Moose Jaw to Yorkton that have the potential for well above normal run off,” he says.
He adds it’s tough to say if any flooding will occur.
Boyle says future snowfall and the rate at which the snow melts will determine how wet the spring is.
